José Antonio Gordillo, new Sporting Director at Sabadell

CE Sabadell CF presented José Antonio Gordillo as their new technical director following the resignation of Xavier Roca. “I’m coming here to work hard and to help with what I can. My priority is to change the dynamic of the group”, said Gordillo during his first press conference at the Catalan side.

One of the first things that he will have to resolve is the continuity of manager Miquel Olmo, who was in the hot seat last weekend following Javier Salamero. “If everybody thinks that Olmo is the right man to lead the team forward that’s fine by me”, he said. Sabadell have only won five games this season and sit 19th in the table on 18 points.
