John Guidetti, RC Celta de Vigo's new striker

A recent U21 European champion with his country, Guidetti played on loan for Glasgow Celtic of Scotland last season with impressive results; 15 goals in 35 appearances.

After suffering a number of injury setbacks during his career, which have stalled it a little, Guidetti realises he now has an opportunity to feature regularly in the best league in the world and means to make the most of his opportunity.

"This is a great day for me, coming to an exceptional team on the back of the great season they had last year and competing in the best league in the world. To play in such a competitive league will be a great test for me and is something I have dreamed of since I was a child" said the player at his presentation.

Guidetti not only stands out on the pitch but also the stage on occasion, for samples of his singing ability visit the official Youtube channel of Manchester City.

Probably many Celta fans are already looking forward to Christmas to see their new striker in action!
