Javier Tebas, President of the Liga de Fútbol Profesional, will offer a talk on Wednesday 10 September at 1.45 pm (local time) to those attending the Soccerex Global Convention in Manchester.
Under the title ‘The International Development of the Liga’, Javier Tebas will explain the work of the LFP and its future projects. The talk will focus on La Liga’s plans for international growth, including the launch of the LFP World Challenge event, in which seven clubs visited Asia, America, Australia and Europe on two tours over the course of this year. Óscar Campillo, editor of the Marca newspaper, will moderate the talk.
Tebas joins the list of speakers at this prestigious convention, which includes FIFA president Joseph S. Blatter, four-times Olympic gold medallist Michael Johnson, former players like Gianfranco Zola, Fabio Cannavaro, Ryan Giggs and Sir Bobby Charlton, a living Manchester United legend. The Liga de Fútbol Profesional will also be represented in Manchester with a big stand in the exhibition area. In conjunction with Mediapro, the latest technology introduced into Spanish clubs will be displayed.
The Soccerex Global Convention is the leading business event in the football world and a meeting place and forum of debate among the main stakeholders in this sport internationally. It is the second time that the LFP president takes part in a Soccerex event after attending the Asian Forum held in Jordan last May.
