Girona FC – FC Barcelona B
The Sunday will get underway with this exciting derby. While Girona will look to retain the top spot in the Liga Adelante, the Azulgrana reserves will want to win after six matchdays without a victory.

The Girona manager, Pablo Machín, had words of praise for his opposition: "They have a fantastic team and enormous potential. It will be an attractive game of attacking football". Meanwhile, Eusebio Sacristan said that his team is ready to end its poor run. "We’re preparing to play a great game and get the win. We have to think about ourselves and get back to our best", he said.

R. Sporting – CD Lugo
Sporting welcome Lugo with the challenge and ambition of remaining the only unbeaten team in the Liga Adelante. The Asturian side will not have it easy, with Lugo aiming to stay in touch with the play-off sports off the back of a 1-0 victory over CD Tenerife.

"Lugo are a great team; they’re a pleasure to watch. We’ll have to work hard to get the ball off them", said Abelardo Fernández, the Sporting manager. His counterpart in the Lugo dugout, Quique Setién, praised the Rojiblancos for the great season they are having: "They are having an extraordinary campaign. The fact they haven’t lost says it all".

AD Alcorcón – CE Sabadell
A game of opposites in Santo Domingo. While the Madrid side will be looking to end the day in the play-off spots, the Catalan team need a win to climb out of the relegation zone.
"We are excited about the game because playing at home is always positive and all teams like playing in front of their supporters. It’s the best run we’ve had this season, but every game is difficult and this will be no exception", said the Alcorcón manager, José Bordalás. Álex García, who will be in charge of Sabadell for the first time in a Liga Adelante game, underlined the qualities of the opposition: "Alcorcón are a team who know how to dig in at the Santo Domingo. They are a very competitive side who make the most of the home advantage".

R. Valladolid CF – RC Recreativo
Valladolid, who are on a run of four games without a win, will want to end their poor spell against the likes of Recreativo. The Huelva side will also endeavour to be at their best at the Zorrilla, having suffered two straight defeats against Girona and Mirandés.

The Pucelanos manager, Rubi, said that Recreativo "is a team that, when they regain the defensive solidity they had at the start of the season, will make life very difficult for everyone, because they have a lot of skill and footballers with a great deal of character". The visiting side’s manager, José Luis Oltra, declared that his team "is capable of winning", but they must know "how to take it onto the field, regaining the good form we had at the beginning of the season".

CD Tenerife – R. Racing C.
Tenerife welcome the Cantabrian side needing a win, as they are positioned in the relegation spots and are on a run of two draws and two defeats in four games. Racing ended the last matchday in the safe zone, but a stumble at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López would see them in trouble again.
