Sevilla FC's second and final game of their LaLiga World tour in Orlando is fast approaching. The encounter with Independiente Santa Fe, the Copa Sudamericana champions, will round off the first stage of the Andalusian club's preparations for the season ahead, particularly the two Super Cups they will contest and the LaLiga kick-off.

In the pre-match press conference, Vicente Iborra talked up the importance of not just the fixture itself, but the LaLiga World project: "We've come here to represent LaLiga and it's very important for us to fly the flag for Sevilla in these sorts of events. We're here to have a productive pre-season and set the bar very high. We want to progress as a team and to adapt to the new coach's ideas, so we're going to go for it."

In the eyes of defender Daniel Carriço, the clash against Santa Fe represents far more than just a pre-season run-out: "We've got a lot of work ahead of us, and although we've got two very important games coming up in August, today's match is a key one in terms of furthering our progress and taking ideas on board. Just as we did against River Plate, we've got to go out and give 100%."

Argentinian midfielder Omar Perez was one of the men tasked with facing the press on the Colombian outfit's behalf and he underlined just how significant it is for him and his teammates to be testing themselves against a LaLiga side: "It's a real achievement to be here and playing against one of the top teams in Spain. It's a source of satisfaction and if we were to beat Sevilla, it would mean more to us than a trophy."
