Liga BBVA 2015/16 began with a goalless draw between RC Deportivo and R. Sociedad in the opening day of the competition, where tactics from both teams were crucial to take a point from their first game.
Review the key points of the match.
Good tactical performance
Both teams were able to close the gaps in defense to keep a clean sheet and did not start the season with a defeat. With hardly mistakes and an unyielding tactic probed during the preseason by Víctor Sánchez del Amo as David Moyes, "coruñeses" and 'txuri urdines' signed a goalless draw.

Reliable Germán Lux
Germán Lux stopped Jonathas, especially in the first half, as he was reliable in on all ground saves and all the troubles presented by Real Sociedad. The most prominent action starred by the Brazilian was a one on one, which came to nothing after the save of the goalkeeper
Deportivo activates in the second half.
The Galician side awoke in the second act where, besides be more incisive, find the ball easily and take control of a match that ended 0-0 on the scoreboard and the absolute control of the "coruñeses".
Vela-Jonathas, the beginning of a happy couple
Although there were no many chances, the match hinted the danger that can create this season the attacking partnership formed by Carlos Vela and Jonathas de Jesús. Both strikers were associated with perfection throughout the match and were the most active in front of goal. The Mexican mobility, combined with the nerve of Bruma, were key in the "donostiarras" chances.
Moyes: "Vela y Jonathas nos ofrecen algo diferente. La conexión ha sido buena. Otro día marcarán".

Effective changes, but not game-breakers
Substitutions helped both teams to go up and create more chances in the final minutes, but none managed to turn the clash. Fede Cartabia and Cani were two of the new faces of Galicia´s side, while David Moyes opted to put Chory Castro and Sergio Canales in play, but neither found the key for the goal.
