MIÉ 26.11.2014

After the 3-1 defeat to Valencia CF, Fran Escribá shuffled his team around. The Elche CF coached abandoned the 4-2-3-1 he had stuck to for the first matches and switched to a 4-4-2, with which he has managed to pick up points in three consecutive matches. 'LFP.es, in-depth' shows you his options for the game in San Sebastián.

Przemysław Tytoń (Goalkeeper)

Matches played: 7. Goals conceded: 11.

Elche's number one shirt has so far been shared between Tytoń and Manu Herrera. However, the Polish international, after seven matches between the sticks, has played more minutes. This is his first season with the Franjiverdes after three campaigns with PSV Eindhoven.

Damián Suárez (Right-back)

Matches played: 11. Ball recoveries: 48.

He joined Elche from R. Sporting in 2011 and was a key factor in their promotion to the Liga BBVA. This season he has started eleven of the twelve matches played, in one of which he was pushed forward from full-back to the wing.

Enzo Roco (Centre-back)

Matches played: 10. 22 years of age.

A Chile international and league and cup champion in his country in 2010, he arrived on loan from Universidad Católica this summer. Despite not starting the first Liga BBVA match, it did not take him long to win the confidence of his manager: he has played 900 minutes, time during which he has made 36 ball recoveries and 375 passes.

David Lombán (Centre-back)

Matches played: 12. Minutes: 1080.

Having learned his trade at the Valencia CF academy, he went on to play for UD Salamanca, Xerez CF, FC Barcelona B and joined Elche in 2013. He is the only player to have played every minute and has scored two goals, one of which, against Granada CF, was crucial as it was an equaliser with last touch of the game.

Edu Albacar (Left-back)

Matches played: 10. Passes: 380.

A veteran with vast experience in both the Liga BBVA and the Liga Adelante, this is his fifth season with Elche. He can play on the both flanks, although this season he has only appeared on the left.

This is the area that has undergone the most changes throughout the season. Fran Escribá started the year with a 4-2-3-1 formation, but the arrival of Cristian Herrera in the strikeforce has meant changing the system to 4-4-2.

In his first season Pedro Mosquera has made room for himself in Escribá's eleven: he has played in every match and scored one goal. In the opening matches of the season, the Galician player was accompanied here by Adrián González.

The wings are occupied by Garry Rodrigues and Víctor Rodríguez, who have played eleven matches each, starting in nine. Other options for the Valencian coach are Mario Pašalić, one of the heroes of Elche's 2012 promotion winning season, Ferrán Corominas 'Coro', Fayçal Fajr and José Ángel Alonso, who has changed his position in the centre of defence for that of a defensive midfielder.

Cristian Herrera (Forward)

Matches played: 10. 23 years old.

Having played for Elche's reserves last year, he has earned himself a place in the first team's strikeforce in his first season in the Liga BBVA.

Jonathas de Jesús (Forward)

Matches played: 11. Goals: 6.

After finding the net 15 times last season for Italian team Latina, at Elche he has scored half of the side's goals (six). The Brazilian player's prowess in front of goal is a result of his quick adaptation to the Liga BBVA.
