Being two LaLiga giants made both Barcelona and Real Madrid have a solid fan base with thousands of Indonesian members. Pena Real Madrid Indonesia (PRMI) has 18.000 Members and established since 2007 while IndoBarca since 2009 has 15.000 members from all over Indonesia.
To support the team this weekend, both fan base will throw a massive event at Indonesia national football stadium, Gelora Bung Karno in Jakarta. Fans from both teams will watch the Clasico together with additional entertainment by local band and DJ.
"We had two months preparation for this event. This is going to be huge because we invite Barcelonista from all over Indonesia. I think around 10.000 fans will come to support Madrid and Barca” said Ibnu Marpaung, president of IndoBarca.
Pena Real Madrid Indonesia also echoed the same enthusiasm; Indonesian Madridista from greater Jakarta area will share the same atmosphere at Gelora Bung Karno to support Los Blancos.
"Around 5000 Jakarta members will come to visit GBK. It's a free event and I think it will be great to watch our favorite football team live in our national pride football stadium", said Ben, Pena Real Madrid Indonesia.
One of Indonesian Madridista, Rian is hoping that Madrid can gain some advantage if Messi is not available for the game. "I hope Messi is not fit enough for the game. So Madrid will win with two goals from Ronaldo". Backing up Barca, Ibnu predict that Barca will win with tight score, he hopes Suarez or Busquets will be the goal scorer to take Barca lead 2-1 against Madrid.
"Without Messi, Barca still can rely on their solid forward. So, I would say Messi should focus on his recovery first. But, I don't know... Sometimes Messi can perform at his best after an injury. Let's leave it to Enrique decision", said Ibnu ended the conversation. No matter which team will win, both Madrid and Barca Indonesia will always unite like they always did these past years.
