Valencia’s ‘9’
It says it on his back, as well as his attitude, his faith and his scoring ability. Paco Alcacer is always well located in the box and takes advantage, normally with a first touch, of his opportunities. This time the cross came from Andre Gomes for the player from Torrent to put it in the back of the net getting ahead on the scoreboard.
Viera
With the extra motivation of going back to what was his home, Jonathan Viera had an outstanding performance and he showed it the best possible way: scoring a great goal. His team had many opportunities throughout the game and shortly after the start of the second period, and with Tana assisting magnificently, Viera equalized the clash with a great strike that gave Jaume Domenech no chance.

Jaume Domenech
He couldn’t save the first goal, but he did manage to save a one on one against Tana, who after stepping in the box and being in front of the Valencian keeper, chose to shoot and only the fast reaction from the goalie deviated the ball which hit the crossbar, avoiding any option of the ball going in.
Associative play
UD Las Palmas, with an attractive play and triangulating, had many touches in their plays. Chances started appearing in the first half, but it was in the second when they were clearer. Momo had the best opportunity in his feet just after his team had scored the equalizer, but the midfielder didn’t execute on target in a good attempt from inside the box.
