Team News:

- Atletico Madrid: Jan Oblak, Diego Godin, Jose Gimenez, Augusto Fernandez, Nicolas Gaitan and Tiago (all injured)

- RC Celta: Full squad available

Team News:

Atletico Madrid (5th, 39 pts):

- The stats, at least the recent ones, are stacked in Diego Simeone's side's favour: the Rojiblancos have won their last three LaLiga Santander encounters with Celta without the loss of a goal.

- What's more, Atletico are unbeaten in their last six league games (W4 D2), in which they've kept five clean sheets.

Celta (10th, 30 pts):

- The Galicians triumphed 2-0 away to CD Leganes in their last LaLiga fixture and will be looking to pick up another victory on the road in order to stay in contention in the upper reaches of the table, with Eduardo Berizzo's men eyeing another European campaign next season.

- Giuseppe Rossi will be particularly eager to get the nod this matchday. The forward has six goals to his name against Atletico in LaLiga Santander, more than he has managed against any other club in the division.
