Granada CF and Valencia CF go into Matchday 14 of the Liga BBVA aiming to end a poor run of results. It will be an important clash for both sides, in which the three points are badly needed in order to climb the table as quickly as possible.
Team news
The Nazaríes, with Rubén Rochina, Riki and Darwin Machís still absent, go into the clash without Sulayman Marreh and Javi Márquez, who have not managed to recover in time. Valencia, at full strength in attack, will be without Lucas Orbán and João Pereira. Nuno Espírito Santo has also left João Cancelo, Bruno Zuculini and Robert Ibáñez out of the matchday squad.
Views from the dugout
"We're aware that we need points and victories. We're playing against a fantastic team, with a lot of quality, and we have to give it our all", said a positive Joaquín Caparrós, the Granada boss. His counterpart in the Valencia dugout explained the key aspects of the encounter: "We're going into the game confident that we'll play well".
