A total of 13 LaLiga 1|2|3 clubs did business with the clock ticking on deadline day, resulting in over 25 transfers on 31 January to bolster squads for the second half of the season. Cordoba CF, FC Barcelona B, AD Alcorcon, R. Oviedo, CD Tenerife, Rayo Vallecano, Sevilla Atletico, UD Almeria, Lorca FC, R. Zaragoza, R. Valladolid CF, Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa and CD Numancia all ensured that the excitement went down to the wire as the transfer window slammed shut.

Cordoba left it particularly late on deadline day to draft in Jose Antonio Reyes and Aythami to improve their squad. Rayo also needed until the final minutes of the window to confirm the arrival of Portuguese forward Bebe, having notably recaptured Argentine midfielder Emiliano Armenteros a couple of days earlier.

Barcelona B successfully focused their attentions on recruiting midfielders, such as the Canadian Ballou Tabla and fellow starlets Nahuel and Marcus McGuane. Tenerife also brought in a highly rated youngster, landing Alex Mula on loan. Other deadline-day moves included Andrew Hjulsager swapping RC Celta for Granada CF, while R. Oviedo fans can now look forward to a frontline containing Diego Fabbrini and Olmes Garcia.

Incoming nationalities to LaLiga 1|2|3 include Jamaican, Nigerian, Canadian and Saudi. There's no doubt that the competition continues to grow and with the array of new signings raring to go, an even more exciting second half of the season is certainly in store.
