Cordoba CF and the city council conclude their promotional visit to India

Cordoba CF, which like LaLiga is immersed in an extensive internationalisation process to grow its brand abroad, concluded its promotional visit to Mumbai, India, on Monday. The trip represents another step in bringing Spanish football to fans in India and seeking possible alliances in various departments.

On Friday 13 January, several companies from Cordoba joined a delegation of representatives of the club and the city council and set out on a promotional visit to Mumbai, where they were received by Ignacio Ducasse Gutierrez, the tourism counsellor. Following the institutional visit, they also attended a meeting at the Spanish Trade Office in Mumbai with the head counsellor, Juan del Alcazar. They went on to meet with the main local operators, including Mercury Travel, Namaste Tourism, Akbar Holidays, TBI, and SOTC Travel India, at the Hotel Vivanta by Taj President. The meeting was also attended by potential investors involved in the world of leisure and football. The companies from Cordoba held several meetings with each of the operators to present the tourist attractions offered by the Spanish city. 

On the following day a tournament was held at RBK International Academy between pupils of the school and participants in Cordoba CF's training camp, which took place from 26 to 30 December, where those present received technical and tactical instruction on football. Afterwards, medals and certificates were given to the participants by the collaborating organisations, including LaLiga, the city council, BePro, LemonBreak and the attending companies, marking the end of the first international CCFWorldwide initiative.
