FC Barcelona: Arda Turan, Gerard Pique, Javier Mascherano and Rafinha (all injured)

Match Facts:

Alaves (12th, 27 pts)

- After winning 4-2 away to R. Sporting last matchday and then sealing their place in the Copa del Rey showpiece in midweek, morale is sky-high among Mauricio Pellegrino's men as they prepare to host the team who just so happen to be their opponents in their first-ever domestic final.

- Alaves have already beaten Barça this term, having secured a famous 2-1 victory at the Camp Nou during a superb start back to life in the top flight. If the Basques can claim the LaLiga Santander champions' scalp again this time round, they will become the first club to do the double over the Catalans in any competition since Bayern Munich thrashed them home and away in April/May 2013.

Barcelona (2nd, 45 pts)

- The Azulgranas have bagged 21 goals in seven games as part of a 14-match unbeaten run in the league (W9 D5), the longest they have gone undefeated since a historic streak that came to an end in April 2016. They will be bidding for three more points this weekend as they look to keep pace with or even overtake Real Madrid at the top.

- Mendizorroza is the only current LaLiga Santander stadium where Lionel Messi has never played. All eyes will be on the Argentine and Luis Suarez in Vitoria – Alaves are one of only two Spanish sides that the Uruguayan has faced and failed to score against, the other being Malaga CF.
