Atlético de Madrid are already in Japan

The Club Atlético de Madrid touring group are now in Japan; their first stop on the LFP World Challenge Tour, which will take the team around the Asian continent. The ‘Madrileño’ side have landed in the Japanese city of Saga, where they’ll play their first LaLiga World match.

The team managed by Diego Pablo Simeone will face Sagan Tosu on the 1st of August in the Best Amenity Stadium, a stadium with a capacity for 24,500 spectators who will be able to enjoy the first stage of the tour. In this game, which will take place at 19:00 local time (12:00 CET), the ‘rojiblancos’ will demonstrate the potential and quality of LaLiga against one of the outstanding sides in the Asian country.

The LFP World Challenge project aims to bring together the best professional clubs in the world, in order to project the image of Spanish football around the globe and spread the values of the Spanish Brand through LaLiga World events.
