Málaga CF receives Valencia CF on matchday 20 of the Liga BBVA, in the game that opens the second round of matches. The home side are looking for the peace of mind of the middle of the table while Juan Antonio Pizzi's team will be hoping to forget their fumble last week against RC Celta de Vigo.
The Andalusian outfit have lost their last two games and will therefore be looking for their first win of the season. To get it, Bernd Schuster will be without the injured Weligton and Jesús Gámez while Kameni is a doubt due to a niggle in his left thigh. Even so, the German coach said that "Valencia is a quality side. I enjoyed their recent matches and tempo and intensity will be important".
Valencia, for its part, is also looking to improve on its recent results in order to stay in the fight for the European spots. Pizzi is confident of his team's chances: "We believe we have a good chance and so we are going to fight for it". The manager will not be able to select Víctor Ruiz or Sergio Canales, who is not on the team-sheet.
