Up to five teams in the Liga BBVA tried tactics and line-ups in their pre-season friendly matches. Malaga CF, RC Celta de Vigo and R. Betis made their debut in the summer football and Rayo Vallecano and RC Deportivo continued racking wins.
Rayo were the first who went into the match on an action-packed Friday. In the middle of a successful tour around Germany the squad from Vallecas made a comeback victory against Eintracht Braunschweig. Quini and Miku Fedor's goals turned things around in a game that the Teutonic squad had started winning.

Germany was also the destination chosen by Malaga and Celta to start preparing the 2015/06 season. The Andalusian team was defeated 3-1 by Karlsruher SC although the whole squad was tried. By contrast, the team from Vigo provided a great image in their 1-5 victory against Greuther Fürth.

In another match Deportivo beat Racing Club Villalbes 0-3 in the stadium of La Magdalena in a slow game. Two of the new signings by Victor Sanchez del Amo stood out: Alejandro Arribas and Fernando Navarro.
The last match was played by Betis who won 3-1 in the stadium of CD San Roque de Lepe. Although he failed a penalty shot in the first half, the newly arrived Rafael van der Vaart became the protagonist of the match since he was the point of reference of the team and he played every ball.
