Team News:

- Athletic Club: Ager Aketxe (injured).

- Valencia CF:  Ezequiel Garay and Aymen Abdennour (injured); Enzo Perez (suspended).

Match Facts:

Athletic Club (14th, 3 pts):

-Athletic Club picked up their first win of the season last weekend. It came away to RC Deportivo and courtesy of Raul Garcia's solitary goal.

-However, Athletic have not started the campaign well. Ernesto Valverde's charges lost their first two LaLiga Santander matches of the new season. They took that form into the Europa League, where they lost 3-0 away to Sassuolo last Thursday.

Valencia CF (19th, 0 pts):

-Times are hard at Valencia CF. With three games played, Pako Ayestaran's side have yet to taste victory. Last Sunday, Ruben Castro's 92nd-minute goal denied Valencia their first point.

-"We're going to put in a good game," said Alvaro Medran. Following three straight defeats, Valencia are hoping to bounce back this weekend against Athletic.
