Two players born in the heart of South America were the stars of the fourth matchday. Paraguay conquered Liga BBVA this weekend thanks to goals from Hernán Pérez (RCD Espanyol) and Antonio Sanabria (R. Sporting), who were instrumental in their respective teams to get the three points.
Hernán Pérez, one of the Espanyol reinforcements in the summer market, was the hero of the "Blanquiazul" side in the exciting clash against Real Sociedad. The team from San Sebastian seemed destined to rescue a draw with Jonathas goal in the 86th minute, but the Paraguayan footballer appeared to score with a header the winning goal in the 90th minute.
Meanwhile, Sanabria led Real Sporting in the match against RC Deportivo at the Riazor Stadium. The San Lorenzo born striker scored in just four minutes the first two goals of the team from Asturias in the 2015/16 Liga BBVA. At the end, his two goals were instrumental for Abelardo Fernández’s team, which could beat 2-3 the Galicians and get its first win of the course.
