The final game of the Liga BBVA season will see a Comunidad Valenciana derby between Levante UD and Elche CF. Both sides are assured of their place in Spain's top division for next season, and therefore it will be an afternoon of enjoyment for both sets of players. It will be a pressure free game where football will be the protagonist.
Team news
Levante are without Iván López, Kalu Uche, Nikos Karampelas, Andreas Ivanschitz, Simão Mate, Jason and Pape Diop. Elche also have a number of absentees such as forward Jonathas De Jesús, who received a fifth yellow card of the season last time out against Athletic Club, and the injured José Ángel Alonso, Manu Herrera, Álvaro Giménez and Rubén García.
View from the dugout
Levante boss Lucas Alcaraz spoke of his side's season: "We've brilliantly managed to achieve our objective and it has more merit than something achieved with just two games to go. We have done something that wasn't imaginable".
Elche boss Fran Escribá spoke of the importance of finishing the season with a win: "We want to win to end the season on a positive not. The game is not important for the points, but for the win it is".
