Kang-In Lee, LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month for August

The South Korean’s goal has been voted the LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month for August. Kang-In Lee controlled the ball on the right wing, drove towards the box, beating several defenders, and fired a magnificent shot that nestled in the top corner of the Málaga net.

The match remained goalless until, in the 70th minute, Kang-In Lee broke the deadlock with a brilliant piece of individual play. The Rojiblanco forward thus capped off his official debut for Atlético de Madrid in the best possible way and set his team on course for victory. Álex Baena later made it 2–0 with a spectacular free-kick.

Kang-In Lee has thus claimed the first LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month award of the season thanks to a masterpiece that also marked his first goal as an Atlético de Madrid player.
