Team News:

- R. Sporting: Bernardo (injured)

- SD Eibar: Jaime and Borja Ekiza (injured)

Match Facts:

R Sporting (18th, 32 pts):

- Sporting have taken something from four of their last six games, in a run which has brought them to within just two points of safety. A win here would see the Rojiblancos move out of the bottom three for the first time since Matchday 25.

- Abelardo Fernandez's men have claimed maximum points in two of their last three home fixtures, getting the better of two of the division's heavyweights in the process. Sporting produced their best to ensure that Atletico Madrid and Sevilla FC both left El Molinon empty-handed.

- The Gijon outfit slipped to a 2-0 defeat against Eibar in the sides' first ever Liga BBVA encounter earlier on this season, when  strikes from Keko and Borja Baston sealed victory for the Basques .

SD Eibar (11th, 42 pts):

- Last week's 1-1 stalemate against RC Deportivo saw Eibar guarantee their Liga BBVA status for another season, with three matchdays to spare.

- The Armeros have registered just two points from their last eight away trips. Their latest win on the road came back on 3 January - their final away game of the first half of the campaign - when they eased to a 4-0 win over Real Betis.

- This game marks Eibar's first ever visit to El Molinon for a Liga BBVA fixture.

Don't leave Gijon without…

Dropping in on the Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura, the city's leading cultural venue. In addition to marvelling at the splendour of the impressive building, you'll have the chance to enjoy exhibitions, workshops, audio-visual screenings and other shows and activities. The centre came about as a result of efforts made by the Asturian government in 2001 to give the city's former university, the Universidad Laboral, a new lease of life.
