Asier Garitano is the new coach of Real Sociedad

Real Sociedad have started planning for the 2018/19 season and have moved quickly to sign a new coach Asier Garitano on a three year contract which ties him until 2021.

Garitano started out as assistant to Jose Bordalas with Alicante CF, and followed him to CD Castellon, Orihuela CF and CD Alcoyano.

In 2013/14 he signed for fCD Leganes in the Segunda B (third tier) and took them all the way to LaLiga Santander, where they made their first ever appearance in the 2016/17 campaign.
