The LALIGA Foundation held its 2025 Ordinary General Meeting

The LALIGA FOUNDATION held its Ordinary General Meeting on Tuesday, July 1st, in the Sala de Banderas (Hall of Flags) at LALIGA headquarters. The meeting took place in a hybrid format (both online and in person) and was attended by Clemente Villaverde, president of the LALIGA FOUNDATION; Javier Tebas, president of LALIGA and board member of the Foundation; along with other board members representing the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

A key highlight of the agenda was the presentation of the Action Plan for the 2025/26 season. During the session, the Foundation also unveiled its strategic priorities and shared impact data from its numerous projects supporting vulnerable communities. Education, training, social inclusion, and the strategic management of social responsibility and sustainability remain core areas of focus, both nationally and internationally.

Furthermore, the meeting officially welcomed two new additions to the LALIGA Foundation's Board of Trustees: journalist and politician Irene Lozano, and Jesús Álvarez, president of the Spanish Sports Press Association.

Finally, the Foundation announced the departures of Julián Redondo and Paulino Rivero from the board, expressing gratitude for their dedication, commitment, and collaboration over the years.
