Javier Tebas highlights the relevance of China for Spanish football future

At 11 am local time (5:00 hours GMT), began the expected press conference in Shanghai of LaLiga President, Javier Tebas, to attend the Chinese media who had been following the LFP World Challenge tour. In front of a crowded hall, Tebas summarized the project, the future of LaLiga in the Chinese market and the great interest aroused by the Spanish teams during its visit to China. 

"There are so many fans in China who likes football and the best league in the world, which is LaLiga, has to be here," began explaining the Spanish executive. "Throughout the preseason or after the season we will be bringing our clubs to China in order to bring LaLiga to our fans. The football industry has to be in China because it is a key country for its development, “he said. For this reason, Javier Tebas announced new initiatives and projects to increase the links of Laliga with China.

"We are organizing a meeting to exchange experiences between China Second Division clubs and Liga Adelante. We are also about to sign a guide program that will take 40 Spanish coaches to Chinese schools to offer their knowledge and promote a new course of football. We are convinced that Laliga will have very soon its own football schools not only involved in talent recruitment but on the development according of the values of our football, "said LaLiga president.

Tebas also assessed the 2015/16 season fixtures from the Chinese point of view: "Not only Real Madrid and Barcelona will play Saturday night in China time, this season will be another game on Sunday night in Chinese time, in which you can see other big teams like Valencia or Sevilla, so these Clubs will have more relevance in China, "he announced.
