A group of 18 students supported by the Taiwanese governmentTaiwan Global Pathfinders Initiative Program” visited Spain to participate in the first edition of LALIGA Week, a training program promoted by LALIGA Business School and supported by the Taiwanese government itself, focused on learning about the professional football industry.

Out of 132 candidates, only the best 18 were chosen to enjoy this unique experience, which took place between 13 and 26 September 2025.

For two weeks, the students visited the Spanish cities of Madrid, Valencia and Sevilla, participating in a comprehensive itinerary of conferences, workshops and activities led by professionals from clubs such as Atlético de Madrid, Getafe CF, Sevilla FC, Real Betis and Villarreal CF.

This programme offers participants the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the world's largest football ecosystem, from club and stadium management to global branding, digital strategy and LALIGA's international projects.

LALIGA Week: a bridge between cultures and industry

LALIGA Week is an initiative of LALIGA Business School created with the aim of fostering relationships with future leaders in the international sports industry and bringing LALIGA's management methodology closer through immersive experiences.

In the past, this initiative has already had international partners such as the Lagos Business School (Nigeria), the Externado University of Colombia and the Dominican Football League. Now, Taiwan is joining this project, consolidating LALIGA's commitment to promoting the growth of football beyond its borders.

"It is an honour for LALIGA to welcome this group of elite students supported by the Taiwanese government. These types of programmes not only enrich the participants' training, but also allow us to strengthen ties with future leaders in the sports industry in Asia, sharing our experience and our overall vision of football," said José Moya, director of LALIGA Business School.

With this first edition of LALIGA Week in Taiwan, LALIGA reinforces its commitment to education, internationalisation and the creation of opportunities for those who will be part of the future of the sports industry.
