Match Facts:
Atletico Madrid (3rd, 73 pts):
- The Rojiblancos head into the game with a significant boost to their morale after dumping Barcelona out of the Champions League in the quarter-finals. Now they have to focus on the Liga BBVA to keep the pressure on the Azulgranas, who top the table with a three-point lead over Atletico.
- The Vicente Calderon has been a fortress for Diego Simeone's men. Their last defeat on home turf was on Matchday 3, precisely at the hands of Barcelona (2-1).

Granada CF (17th, 30 pts):
- Granada need to treat this as another game akin to a cup final, as they fight for survival. They have managed four draws in a row and will be keen to continue putting points on the board to keep themselves out of the bottom three.
- Their last victory on the road was on 28 February, when they beat RC Deportivo 1-0. Youssef El Arabi netted the winner from the penalty spot.
José González: "We must focus exclusively on what we do ourselves & doing things well, because that is how we will achieve our objective."
