The LALIGA EXPERIENCE draws the curtains on its third instalment featuring DAZN Italy and the network’s celebrity presenter Diletta Leotta, along with ESPN Argentina and its latest talent, Momo, who enjoyed one of the most thrilling matches of the season so far.
DAZN Italy brought in an entire production team to record the documentary “Diletta: Missione Spagna 23/24”, in which she unveils the history behind LALIGA’s derbies, starting this November with the Seville Derby.
Meanwhile, Momo produced a host of live streams for his new show “Generation F”, giving his local audience in Argentina a behind-the-scenes take on the atmosphere in the run-up to a Sevilla FC v Real Betis clash.
Following the LALIGA EXPERIENCE’s new storytelling format, the streamers in this edition showed how Sevilla FC train, chatted to the players Lucas Ocampos and Suso, explored the streets of the city and sampled its exquisite cuisine. To add to the festive football atmosphere, the city is currently in the midst of Latin Grammy week, meaning there was no shortage of music with a concert by Lola Indigo and all manner of entertainment from start to finish.
Both talents produced non-stop content, as evidenced by the photo of the presenter Diletta promoting THE SEVILLE DERBY in the emblematic Plaza de España.
The international guests also had VIP vantage points to witness the two teams arrive at the Sanchez-Pizjuan, observe the warm-ups from the sidelines and soak up the magic which envelops the Sevilla stadium when the fans belt out the club anthem.
Making the most of the coverage of the two networks, the DAZN Spain presenter Sandra Diaz interviewed Diletta Leotta live just minutes before kick-off, while Momo was able to show ESPN Argentina viewers what the experience was like from pitchside courtesy of Gol-Ball.
In addition, Pablo Blanco, one of Sevilla FC’s most revered legends, was there to welcome the group and hand out the ‘best streamer’ award to one of the guests. The game ended in a draw after an Ivan Rakitic screamer cancelled out the opener slotted away minutes earlier by Ayoze Perez, and it was very much a match to remember. Finally, the two journalists had the chance to shoot some footage in the mixed zone and conduct flash interviews, getting the thoughts of Rakitic, one of the goalscorers.
