The expedition organised by LaLiga and the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), comprised of more than 60 participating children and representatives from the Chinese Ministry of Education, has continued its organised visit to Madrid with the objective of seeing Spanish football's coaching practices first-hand.

Thanks to this project, created in collaboration with the Chinese Ministry of Education, LaLiga has partnered the CEAIE in the Asian country's first overseas football training camp. The participating children enjoyed a Monday-afternoon get-together at the Hotel Axor Feria in the company of Fernando Sanz, LaLiga's MENA office manager and director of international projects, during which they were able to interact with a former LaLiga player for the first time.

Several hours later, a delegation of officials from the Chinese Ministry of Education and the CEAIE visited LaLiga's headquarters where Liao Wenke, the deputy director of the ministry's Department of Physical, Health and Art Education, and Li Ang, the director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges for Students and Teachers, were welcomed by LaLiga's vice-president, Victor Martin; managing director of international development, Vicente Casado; managing director of sales and marketing, Adolfo Bara; and country manager for China, Sergi Torrents.

"We're hugely satisfied that the Chinese government has looked to LaLiga to show it the direction that Spain is taking in terms of player coaching. They have highlighted that, here at LaLiga, we see football as an instrument to convey values, a school of values. They have a huge political will to develop football and we have the knowledge and experience," said Victor Martin.

Meanwhile, Vicente Casado said that, "LaLiga is honoured that the Chinese Ministry of Education has decided to organise its first ever overseas football training camp in Spain. That means that the relationship between LaLiga and the Chinese government is better than ever and the future looks great."

This project, which includes some of Chinese football's most promising young talents, is offering men's, women's and mixed football teams the opportunity to get to know Spain's training methods whilst, at the same time, giving them a chance to experience a cultural exchange.
