Matchday 25 of the LaLiga Santander season takes us into the second half of the LaLiga Ultimate Expert campaign, with 11 questions having already been posed to challenge supporters from across the planet to prove just how much they know about the competition’s different clubs.
The hype around the initiative continues to grow by the week and this time round it’s Japanese broadcaster WOWOW and Colombia’s ESPN that add their name to the list of participating rights holders.
Indeed, WOWOW has already published the competition terms and conditions on its official Twitter account and explained to its followers how they can get their hands on some incredible prizes by showcasing their LaLiga knowledge. The broadcaster is set to publish two questions a week, but just who will be crowned as the first winners from the Asian nation?
Another of the broadcasters enjoying some fine results courtesy of the LaLiga Ultimate Expert campaign is Albania’s DigitAlb. The special section devoted to the competition on the channel’s Sport Time show, in which pundits encourage viewers to enter the competition, is seeing the channel’s Instagram posts attract hundreds of comments on a weekly basis.
Real Sociedad take centre stage in the latest challenge, with the question about the Real Arena outfit posed by one of the club’s most iconic former players, Xabi Prieto.
The San Sebastian-born legend puts participants’ knowledge to the test by asking them to name the Basque side’s record appearance maker. Will the broadcasters’ subscribers deliver the goods and come up with the correct answer?
