Group A
FC Barcelona and R. Betis top the group with four points each after the opening rounds. The Catalans beat Juventus 4-2 but were held to a 1-1 draw against Betis, who had defeated local side Al Ain FC in their opener. Both play to progress against the Italians on Saturday, who also defeated Al Ain.
Group B
FC Internazionale Milan lead the way in Group B of the LaLiga Promises. The Italians won both their opening games 1-0 against Atletico Madrid and Baniyas. Atletico and Sevilla FC are next with three points each. The Madrid-based club defeated the Andalusians 3-1, while the Sevilla Baniyas 3-0.
Group C
Espanyol top Group C with two wins from two. The Catalans beat Borussia Dortmund 3-2 and Valencia 2-1, who have three points each respectively, while SL Benfica prop up the group with zero points.
Group D
Villarreal lead group D with two wins from two, nine goals scored and none conceded. The Yellow Submarine overcame local side Al Jariza 1-0 and Real Madrid 2-0. Madrid defeated PSG 1-0 in their other game. A victory over Al Jazira on Saturday, could see them through to the next round.
