Rakitić a doubt against Valladolid

Ivan Rakitić, Sevilla FC's Croatian player, underwent a scan on Monday to evaluate his condition, having left the field with an injury during last Friday's international between Croatia and Belgium.

The midfielder has been diagnosed with a grade one obturator externus muscle injury in his right hip, as well as an overloaded right adductor muscle. Also, according to the Andalusian club's official website, the player "has already started his treatment on Monday at the sports complex facilities" and he has not been completely ruled out for this weekend's match against Real Valladolid CF.
