LaLiga World 2015 gets underway

Four countries and lots of football. Valencia CF, Villarreal CF, Sevilla FC and RCD Espanyol are part of the post-season tour that got underway on Tuesday and will visit three continents: America, Oceania and Africa.

The LFP World Challenge gets underway for a second consecutive year, bringing together the best clubs from all over the world to project the image of Spanish football internationally, while also demonstrating the values of Marca España and Spanish businesses to generate opportunities through cultural and business events, taking advantage of the synergies of the launch of a top level international sporting event.

Created in 2014 by LaLiga and with the support of the Spanish Government, the Superior Sports Council and the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade, this programme has become a global phenomenon with 30 footballing and corporate events and more than 250,000 spectators.

Within the LFP World Challenge programme, the following will tour the world in pre and post season tours: LaLiga World, with friendlies between the best sides in the world, Spain Experience, business events organised with the objective of promoting Spain, Champions of Spain, where other sports will be given promotion at the hand of LaLiga and LaLiga Promises where promising young players from LaLiga sides will play international tournaments.
