CD Mirandés manager, Carlos Terrazas, has never concealed that the aim of the Burgos club is promotion to Liga BBVA. The coach believes that his team is prepared to make the leap from category and much of his aspirations go through a forward coming from Ivory Coast.
Lago Junior landed on the team this summer willing to get his second consecutive promotion. The striker, who arrived in Spain via Numancia and went through the ranks of Eibar, managed to get promotion to Liga Adelante last season with Gimnastic, before making the leap to CD Mirandés.
The African is responding to the expectations placed by the club and Terrazas himself in his signing, and now adds five goals that have placed him as the top scorer of the team. His targets have contributed to make CD Mirandés the top-scoring team of Liga Adelante with 19 goals, and for all in the Burgos club to keep alive the aim to fight for being in Liga BBVA next season.
