Javi Hernández, LALIGA EA SPORTS U-23 Player of the Month for August

Soccer player Javi Hernández has been named LALIGA EA SPORTS U-23 Player of the Month for August. The RCD Espanyol midfielder has recorded three assists in the first three league matchdays.

The Espanyol academy product, who was on loan last season to CD Mirandés in LALIGA HYPERMOTION, started all three matches against Levante UD (3-0), Real Madrid (1-2), and Real Sociedad (2-1), setting up a goal in each game.

Javi Hernández won the award after beating out players such as Xavi Espart (FC Barcelona), Arda Güler (Real Madrid), Miguel Sierra (Sevilla FC), and Yassir Zabiri (R. Racing Club) in the final vote.
