The LFP's Extraordinary General Meeting took place on Friday at the Hotel Ayre in Seville. At the gathering, in which all the Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante clubs participated, the following, among other things, were proposed:

- Approval of the request for a loan of a maximum of 18 million euros. The president of the LFP, Javier Tebas, has explained that this loan "will be a lag in the Liga's treasury to cover the payment of salaries at the clubs, but which will be returned by the clubs at the end of the year".

- Proposal for the modification of the articles of association. A proposal was made for the position of a sole judge which would modify the existing disciplinary bodies. These are the Social Discipline Committee and the Committee of Resources. The goal is for open disciplinary cases to have quicker access to the Spanish Committee for Sports Discipline and to the ordinary courts. It must be previously approved by the CSD and voted on in the Liga's next General Meeting, which shall be held in Valencia.

- Modification of the assembly agreement in terms of the interview protocol approved in the July 30 2013 Meeting. The extension from 24 to 48 hours of the time provided for the coach of each team to appear before the media before each league match has been approved. In addition, clubs were reminded of the obligation of complying with the assembly agreement in terms of the final training session before each match: a minimum of 15 minutes of training open to the media.

- The youth academy protection project. The clubs were informed of the launch of a project for the protection of youth academies and players under 16 years of age without a professional contract. According to Tebas, "we seek to extend this project to the rest of national football through the RFEF".

- Proposal for a system for covering vacancies when they arise. The members of the Meeting voted to continue with the existing system.

- The clubs were informed of the LFP's Awards Ceremony on the 2nd of December.

- Presentation to the clubs of the LFP World Challenge, a project linked to the globalisation of Spanish football and companies associated with Marca España.

- Operation of the LFP's department of integrity. The meeting explained the operation of the recently created department to the clubs.

- Proposal for a campaign against piracy. The LFP has launched a project to fight against audiovisual piracy, with audiovisual and graphical publicity.
