LALIGA attaches great importance to the development of football talents and is committed to promoting the sport globally. In recent years, LALIGA has deepened its cooperation with China's football sector, promoting the development of China's football industry, supporting the development of China's football youth training system, and establishing close partnerships with different levels of government, football organizations and associations. LALIGA Hope Cup and LALIGA Kunming International Football School, which were launched in 2019, are not only the fruits of cooperation between LALIGA and grassroots football in Yunnan Province, but also demonstrate LALIGA's commitment to the development of grassroots football in China. During the tournament, Villarreal CF also visited the Kunming Southwest United University Research Institute Affiliated School and had a friendly exchange of football technology and culture with the school's football team.
During the third LALIGA Hope Cup tournament, in addition to the football skills and tactics of the teams on the field, off-field cultural exchange activities have also become an indispensable part. The Spanish team visited Kunming City and the Ethnic Culture Village to learn more about Kunming Yunnan’s local characteristics, local customs and diverse ethnic cultures. This kind of cultural education is exactly what LALIGA promotes within the concept of integral player development, and it is very beneficial for football players to enrich their knowledge base, enhance their cultural vision and then ride on a broader international stage. In the future, the LALIGA Hope Cup will continue to provide a platform for young football players from both China and Spain to compete together and have cross-cultural exchanges, which will help them grow up more comprehensively and quickly.
