Packed in its more than 20,000 sits, the Best Amenity Stadium of Tosu became a perfect setting for soccer with the arrival of the LFP World Challenge Tour.

For several hours before the game, local fans gathered around the stadium and participated in the previous activities of this LaLiga World match.

Tireless to the heat or the expectancy, the Japanese fans cheered the arrival of Atlético Madrid in search of some greetings by one of his idols. Once the game started, they colored the stands with their chants of support for the home team, encouraging his players, while maintaining respect and admiration for the players of the Spanish team, which were also the subject of many acclaims.

An environment to imitate that magnified the first experience of the LFP World Challenge Tour in Japan.

The enthusiasm of the game follows the excitement of the crowd. Koke toke the lead for Atlético with an Olympic goal. The locals drew with a few minutes left, in a brilliant single action that ended in an own goal by Savic. In the penalties shootout the rojiblancos were more successful than the Sagan Tosu.

"It was a tough game. It was very hot and humid but we have grown adapted,” said Koke to LaLiga.es, after receiving the Man of the Match award.

"We are growing little by little and we felt that when we see the number of fans outside Spain that are following us," said the Spanish midfielder, assessing its stay in Japan.

Atlético Madrid lies tonight in Saga, where they will train early Sunday morning. Then, Diego Simeone's men will depart to the Japanese prefecture airport to travel to China. Shanghai will be the destination, second stop of the Madrid team in this LFP World Challenge Tour.
