Finals won by Atlético de Madrid
To date, Atlético has appeared in 19 finals (this Saturday’s will be their 20th), winning 10 of them. They were crowned champions in 1960, 1961, 1965, 1972, 1976, 1985, 1991, 1992, 1996, and 2013. This most recent title was "Cholo" Simeone's first on the Rojiblanco bench and was achieved, notably, at the Santiago Bernabéu against Real Madrid. The Colchoneros came back from an early Cristiano Ronaldo goal with strikes from Diego Costa and Joao Miranda.
Before that, in 1996, the club achieved a historic "Double" under Radomir Antic by also winning LALIGA. On that occasion, they defeated FC Barcelona at La Romareda with a lone goal from Pantic (1-0).
Prior to these successes came other final victories, several of them also against Real Madrid. This occurred in 1960 (3-1), 1961 (3-2), and 1992 (2-0). All these finals were held at the Santiago Bernabéu, a common venue in those decades. Other notable final wins for the Rojiblancos include 1965 (against Real Zaragoza, 1-0), 1972 (Valencia CF, 2-1), 1976 (Real Zaragoza, 1-0), 1985 (Athletic Club, 2-1), and 1991 (RCD Mallorca, 1-0).
