Sunday’s action in matchday 24 of Liga BBVA starts with a passionate tie between Real Sociedad and Sevilla. Both sides are looking for points that would help them maintain their objectives: the Basque outfit want to climb the table, while the Andalusian side are fighting for a European place.
Team news
Injuries blight the game for David Moyes, who is without four players in Carlos Vela, Mikel González, Carlos Martínez and Zurutuza, while he also has four doubts. The visitors welcome back Luismi, Kevin Gameiro, Benoît Trémoulinas and Diogo Gomes but are without Nico Pareja, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Carlos Fernández and Juan Muñoz.
View from the dugout
The home side are looking to use the game as an extra motivation, having already downed FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid at home. Centre back Iñigo Martínez said: "We’ve beaten some big sides and Sevilla are one of them."
The Andalusian side’s boss grew up in San Sebastián, and analysed the club as one that is “working very well.” Unai Emery added: “We must work hard. We want 48 points. The obligation is to work to get us to that direction. The answer will be a good one”.
