Team News:

- Sevilla FC: Michael Krohn-Dehli and David Soria (injured)

- Real Betis: Alex Martinez and Jonas Martin (injured)

Match Facts:

Sevilla FC (5th, 8 pts):

- #ElGranDerbi will feature plenty of first-timers. One of the new faces will be in the home dugout. The Argentinian manager Jorge Sampaoli is well aware of the challenge ahead of him and has no doubts about the objective he is setting his side: "To live up to the people's anticipation and desires."

- Sevilla head into this classic Spanish football clash with two wins and two draws from the past four matchdays. And both of those triumphs came at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan in the late stages of their games against RCD Espanyol and UD Las Palmas.

- The most recent league precedent takes us back to Matchday 35 of last season. On that day, with two different coaches and rather different line-ups, Sevilla ran out 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Kevin Gameiro and Coke.

Real Betis (11th, 5 pts):

- Betis, on five points out of a possible 12, will be determined to add to their tally and climb up the table. They will be looking for the win and hoping to relive their last league victory against their neighbours back in 2012, when they won 2-1 away from home.

- #ElGranDerbi will not just be a question of what happens out on the field of play, with plenty of attention focussed on the dugouts as well. Poyet will also be involved in his first Seville derby, and although he has yet to experience this crosstown clash, his message to his players is clear: "You've got to win derbies any way you can."

- Ruben Castro heads into the derby on flying form. He has netted four goals in as many games and is one of the top scorers in LaLiga Santander, alongside Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezemann and Luis Suarez.
