LaLiga sides Real Sociedad, Athletic Club and Villarreal CF return to UEFA Europa League action in a series of crunch ties this Thursday.
The two Basque sides are the first to kick off, with both games at 19:00 CET. Real Sociedad, who will be keen to get back to winning ways after losing to group leaders Zenit St Petersburg three weeks ago, are away at Macedonian side FK Vardar in Group L. Athletic, meanwhile, travel to Sweden to face Östersunds FK looking for a first European win of the season.
Villarreal face off against SK Slavia Prague at the Estadio de la Ceramica (21:05 CET) with top spot in Group A on the line. The Yellow Submarine will be boosted by the home crowd and will hope to take a big step towards qualification for the knock-out rounds.
