The Spanish teams playing in the UEFA Europa League now know who their opponents will be in the second round, which will be played on 19 February (first leg) and 26 February (second leg).
The defending champions, Sevilla FC, take on German team VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach who played Villarreal CF in the group stage. The Yellows will square off against FC Salzburg, a team they played in the group stage in the 2009-10 competition, when the Austrian team won both games. Athletic Club will meet a team that join the competition from the UEFA Champions League, Italian side Torino FC. Sevilla and Villarreal will be playing the first leg at home, while Athletic are on the road.
