James Rodriguez’s 2014/15 season in Liga BBVA with Real Madrid
• The colombian has shone in his first season with Real Madrid, becoming one of the key pieces for Carlo Ancelotti when it comes to linking the play between the midfielders and strikers. His great vision when it comes to making the final pass has made him one of the most lethal men in the competition in the final third. He was the third highest provider of assists in the Liga BBVA 2014/15 with 13.
• James has also stood out for his ability to score goals, scoring 13 goals in the 29 games he played. Moreover, his strikes have tended to be beautiful ones, like the volley he scored against Granada on matchday 10 or the shot from the edge of the area that opened the scoring in the meeting against UD Almeria on matchday 34.
• His work rate and defensive commitment have also allowed him to be amongst the best players in the competition. The Colombian has not only stood out offensively, but has also ended many matches being the player that has ran the most without the ball.
