The beginning of 2015/16 Liga BBVA is getting closer and teams continue preparation with the dispute of friendly matches. Wednesday brought five interesting games, three of them between teams of Liga BBCA and Liga Adelante.
One of the most attractive matches of the day was the Madrid derby between the CD Leganés and Rayo Vallecano in the Villa de Leganes Trophy which the “franjirrojo” team ended up winning after breaking a scoreless tie on the penalties shootout. Meanwhile, SD Ponferradina won 1-0 to Real Sporting de Gijón and Real Oviedo gained 2-1 at RC Deportivo La Coruña.
In Munich, Real Madrid, in which shone the goalkeeper Keylor Navas could not overcome FC Bayern München. The Bavarians took the win with a single goal from Robert Lewandowski with three minutes to go.
A day full of friendly clashes ended with the Joan Gamper Trophy at Camp Nou, where FC Barcelona delighted its fans with a 3-0 win against Roma. Neymar, Lionel Messi and Ivan Rakitić scored the goals for Barca, which will face Sevilla FC on Tuesday in the UEFA Super Cup.
