Forgetting their visit to Getafe will be nigh on impossible for the guests of LaLiga's international broadcasters S Sports (Turkey) and Nova Sport (Czech Republic).
They started out as the stars of the initial unveiling on the opening day and remained in the spotlight throughout the experience, in a spectacle rounded off by the big match between Getafe CF and Real Madrid.
The team from south Madrid kicked things off by opening their doors with a tour of their sporting facilities and the Coliseum Alfonso Perez. There was time to meet and interview Stefan Mitrovic and Enes Ünal, to take part in some fun challenges, take on Flippersito at FIFA23 and recharge their batteries at LaLiga 29s.
The culmination came on Saturday afternoon in the vicinity of the Coliseum Alfonso Perez, where the guests experienced the warmth and passion of the Getafe faithful ahead of the match against Real Madrid. They started to file away memories, cameras in hands, as they watched the players from both teams arrive in the dressing rooms. They were truly privileged to enjoy the calm in the stadium ahead of the big spectacle as the tribunes were gradually transformed into a sea of blue. They also got to enjoy both teams warming up, followed by the thrill of the match shortly afterwards.
At half-time, the Getafe CF team presented the mini-trophy to the winner Emre Gürkaynak of the challenges which they had contested over the course of their stay in Spain, bringing to a close a wonderful visit enjoyed by all.
The second stop of the LaLiga Experience was yet another resounding success, and one soon to be repeated with work already underway on the next destination.
