On Saturday, April 11, starting at 18:30, the Spotify Camp Nou will host ELDERBI DE BARCELONA. This historic local rivalry between the Azulgranas and the Blanquiazules is set to bring the city to a standstill.
To tackle this clash, both managers will look to field their players in peak form. Hansi Flick and Manolo González will present their best possible starting elevens for FC Barcelona and RCD Espanyol de Barcelona, respectively.
Possible FC Barcelona Lineup vs. RCD Espanyol
Hansi Flick enters this match with several confirmed absences and a few doubts, alongside the "added factor" of the ongoing Champions League quarter-finals. The Azulgranas will be without Christensen and Raphinha, while Frenkie de Jong and Marc Bernal are also unlikely to make the squad in time.
Consequently, the XI could feature Joan Garcia between the posts, with Koundé and Balde as full-backs, and Cubarsí and Gerard Martín at the heart of the defense. In midfield, Eric Garcia could return to the holding role, joined by Pedri with Fermín playing as the playmaker, though Dani Olmo remains a strong option for that spot.

Because of this, Manolo González won't hold anything back. His regular starters are expected to feature as they look to end their winless drought against their cross-town rivals. Puado remains out with a long-term injury, as does center-back Riedel, who is serving a suspension for yellow card accumulation.
Thus, Dmitrović will once again start in goal, with Calero and Cabrera as center-backs, and El Hilali and Carlos Romero on the flanks. Urko González and Pol Lozano could repeat as the double pivot, while Edu Expósito or Ramón Terrats act as the playmaker. Dolan, Ngonge, and Pere Milla, who returns from suspension, will share the wing duties, with Roberto (and Kike García as an alternative) serving as the main attacking reference
