César Sánchez Domínguez

César Sánchez began his career at Real Valladolid, where he spent nine seasons. There he earned the respect and the affection of the fans from Pucela, and his great performances at the José Zorrilla earned a move to one of the biggest clubs in the world, Real Madrid.

As a blanco he won seven trophies: 2 LaLiga titles, 2 Spanish Super Cups, 1 European Super Cup, 1 Intercontinental Cup and 1 UEFA Champions League. This last of which was particularly memorable; César kept goal in the Champions League final against Bayer Leverkusen, where Real Madrid won the competition for a record ninth time.

He went on to play 110 times for Real Zaragoza, and after a brief adventure with Tottenham in the Premier League, César returned to LaLiga with Valencia CF. There he spent three memorable years, before finishing his career with Villarreal CF in 2012.
