Daniel Alves' 2014/15 season in the Liga BBVA with FC Barcelona

• The Brazilian joined los azulgranas from Sevilla FC at the start of the 2008/09 season, and has completed a fantastic campaign that has seen him once again prove himself to be one of the best in his position, playing a total of 2,524 minutes in 30 appearances.

• His ability to bring the ball out and link up the play means that he’s a key man for Luis Enrique. Alves was among the ten Liga BBVA players to make the most passes this term, and was Barça’s third highest. The defender amassed a total of 1,942.

• While the job he does defensively is without question, there can be little denying the quality of the Brazilian’s attacking play either. This season, the full back provided six assists to help his side to the Liga BBVA title.
