Simeone has been chosen as LALIGA EA SPORTS Coach of the Month for October. The Atleti manager is awarded this trophy, sponsored by Microsoft, after completing a magnificent month in the competition, winning all games possible.
The side from the capital have won all their games in the month of October, coming back to win 3-1 against Cádiz and then beating Real Sociedad 2-1 at the Metropolitano, before going on to beat Celta away with a solid 0-3 win. To end the month, Simeone's men added another three points to their tally as they defeated Alavés 2-1 in front of their local crowd.
Simeone managed to beat Míchel (Girona FC) and Francisco (Rayo Vallecano) for this award of Coach of the Month.
El cuadro rojiblanco ha contado todos sus partidos por victorias este mes. Comenzó ganando en casa 3-2 al Cádiz, un encuentro que logró remontar. Seguidamente se impuso en casa a la Real Sociedad por 2-1 en un partido muy disputado. También fue capaz de vencer en Vigo al RC Celta por un contundente 0-3. Y finalizó el mes derrotando al D. Alavés 2-0 ante su afición.
Simeone se alza así con el tercer trofeo de Mejor Entrenador del mes en LALIGA EA SPORTS imponiéndose a la votación a Míchel (Girona FC) y a Francisco (Rayo Vallecano).
